Cambridge United (W) - Away Day Guide

Fulham Lillie Laura McManus is back with another away day guide for the culturally curious Fulham fan wanting pub advice, but also coffee and books.

When travelling up and down the country for away days, it’s a shame to head straight to the ground.

That’s why my perfect away day contains: 1. Coffee & Pastry 2. A random museum or gallery 3. An independent shop. And hopefully three points on the road.

With the mighty Fulham Women playing Cambridge United in December, here’s where you can go ahead of supporting the Whites out in St Neots.

Coffee: Pages Coffee House looks the ideal place to get a drink and relax after your journey, and sit and plan the rest of your day.

To do: You’ve got to pick your gallery right as you’ll likely only have a short time and don’t want to be battling tourists and queues (eg avoid the Fitzwilliam!). I’ll be heading of to MODO to see the David Hockney exhibition.

Shop: Due to limitations on bag sizes for most grounds, it’ll either have to be window shopping or something small. But I’m going to take a punt (a little Cambridge joke there) and say you’d probably be allowed in with any LPs you pick up from Relevant Records for this match.

Don't forget to tag @fulhamlillies if you take a pic at any of these.
